Welcome!
I am excited to be a candidate for re-election for a third term to the School Committee for the Westwood Public Schools. As a dedicated member of the School Committee for six years, I have worked alongside educators, parents, and community members as we faced numerous challenges, but through collaboration and determination, we have achieved significant milestones that have positively impacted the lives of our students.
Some of the highlights of my tenure include:
* Navigating the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing proactive measures to keep our schools open while prioritizing the health and safety of our students, staff, and families.
* Successful design, construction and opening of the new Pine Hill Elementary School, which provides our students with a state-of-the-art, sustainable, modern learning environment.
* Hiring and onboarding a new Superintendent of Schools, who has already contributed immensely to our District and will continue to lead our schools into the future.
As I seek re-election, I humbly ask for your support as I continue to serve our community on the School Committee. Together, we can build on our successes, address challenges, and create a brighter future for our children.
